Got up on the hill around 8:20. Temps in the mid 10s at the base and near 10 at the summit. Snowmaking on Look Mom, Challenger, and Ralph's. Conifer open from the top, hit it a few times. Very slick in a lot of spots, so the new skis came in handy tonight. Felt awesome to be able to make turns on a scraped surface rather than skid across it. Some loose snow on the sides of the trail in spots but mostly skied off. After the 2nd road, it was in much better shape with nice carvable PP. 10th had some old whales from last weekend, some of which were pretty deep at the top. Hopefully will see them light that up again when Look Mom opens.
Challenger and Ralph's both open under the guns. Most of Look Ma also well covered but the last pitch will need another day or two. Incredible output going on right now... every spicket was able to provide juice to two guns, so twice the amount of guns as you'll usually see. Challenger was crowded both times I skied it due to the rail halfway down. Lots of whale skiing after the race shack. Ralph's was whale skiing as well, but the whales were bigger and lots of people falling on the backside of them. Plus, lighting on Ralph's seems bad right now, so more defensive skiing there than anything.
Got 8 runs or so in a little over an hour then hit the bar. Should be back out Tuesday or so.
