Conditions: LSGR, 20s
Trip Report:
Went up to pick up my pass and take a couple runs. Was expecting it to suck, but the conditions were actually pretty decent. Took about 8 runs and left because the crowds were getting a little too big, but it was nice to actually be able to ski skiable trails after being at Jay the last 2 weekends. Challenger was slightly less than half covered on the left, but with a 5:00 grooming, the trail was in great shape. A few bare spots in random places, nothing some moving around can't fix. Ralph's was a little more slick as it carried at least 3/4 of the traffic, but still very much skiable, and wider coverage as well.
Guns were lit up on Sundowner and Conifer, and a good 36-40 straight hours of snowmaking oughta get those ready to go. Lines were 5+ minutes most of the time I was there and getting longer when I left at 7. Will probably try to get back out there when they get Conifer open, maybe Tuesday.
