Date(s) Skied: Saturday 12/19/09 (Night)
Resort or Ski Area: Wachusett, MA
Conditions: PP, Upper 10s
Trip Report:
Got up there around 4 and lapped the summit for a bit over 2 hours. Another night with good snow, cold temps, low crowds, and 6-10" of snow on the way!
Conifer: Only skiied it once. Was a bit slick up top but got better as it went and was beautiful at the bottom.
10th: BUMPS! Well... okay... bump fetuses. Nothing there for lines yet, but I skied the left side of the field about 10 times and had a little something going by the end. At the bottom of the bumps its really messed up, but the ones on the steep are gonna be alright in a few days. The rest of the trail was probably the best groomer off the top.
Smith: A bit slick before grooming, but afterwards it was mint. Lapped it 5-6 consecutive times after grooming and it slowly went from corduroy to wonderful LSGR.
Unfortunately I have to work tomorrow so no powder day for me, but I'll be back up Monday and then at Mt. Snow Tuesday.
