Conditions: hazy sun, low 30's, no wind, hard pack with some loose on top
Got out with my son for a couple hours this morning at WaWa. We got there early before it got too busy, and conditions were pretty good. Most of the trails are open now, except for the Vickery bowl area which they are actively blowing now.
Conditions were pretty firm, but passable. As the crowd started to pick up, the steep sections of the trails were getting pretty scraped off. The headwall of Smith was pretty much all scraped off by side slipping beginner snowboarders.
Best trail condition wise was probably Conifer. We bailed at about 11:30 when the crowd really started to pick up. It was warming up, so the snow might have started to soften more later.
It was day two on my new boots, and the liners seem to be packing out nicely. There are still some pressure points, but I'm loving the stability of these Infernos. They really keep my ankles solid which my old boots did not. My son got a set of twin tips for this season, and tried them out today for the first time. So far he says he likes them.

Here's the headwall on 10th where they had moguls last year. It was a little scrapey through here and no moguls yet.
We stopped for some hot cider in the Bullock Lodge.
