What a great day. First off, I got there way later than expected. Let's just say we had a long party night on Saturday and took me a while to roll out of bed on Sunday

Anyway, I found a friend of mine (who hasn't skid at all this year) to come along with me, but I had to swing by his house to pick up his skis first since he was at a bachelor party in Worcester the night before ( surprised he even made it up in the morning!)

Got to the mountain right before 1PM. The pond skimming competition was already over and I had missed it, but luckily most people were on the deck drinking and listening to the band so the lift lines were very, very quick. Normally less than one minute.

Here's people partying it up

First run of the day: my friend loses his ski getting onto the lift

(btw: there'st hat Dynastar monoski sitting next to us... I think he may have been an AZ'er!)

Snow was great, plenty of coverage, definitely slush in the flatter areas but all in all very ski-able and fun.

Couldn't have asked for a better day. I skid in ski pants, a t-shirt, a jacket, baseball cap & sunglasses, no gloves. It was just beautiful, and barely a cloud in the sky.

Here's a pick of the busted skim pond:

Some nice (but slushy) moguls:

Apparently it was warm enough for this guy to snowboard without a shirt on (on the right)

And here's a pic of yours truly ;) ... the hat backwards keeps it from blowing off at full speed :D

I hit up WaWa's last day with one of the twins. We got their around 1:30 and skied/rode until the lifts shut down, promptly at 4:00.

For a closing day I give it a big thimbs up. Great cover, mashed potatoes, lots of fun.

The day was all about her (cool Dad let her wear a T-shirt over a hoodie instead of a jacket) and she wanted so ski Conifer the entire time becasue of all the "woop de dos" so we did. I didn't get to hit Smith which looked pretty nice from the lift.

Not sure if I broke even on my Bronze pass but having the day I had yesterday with her made it all worth it. She was starring at the lift almost in tears asking to go again while they were flipping the seats, I told her next year kiddo. Nice way to end the season wanting more for her, tI guess almost 30 days wasn't enough for her.
