Date(s) Skied: 12/21

Resort or Ski Area: Wachusett Mountain

Conditions: Packed Powder with some fresh powder on top.

Trip Report: I arrived at the mountain around 9:45 and was on the lift by 10:00. I only skied for two hours and spent all of my time just going down Tenth and Smith Walton. Both trails seemed like they were groomed over night and had a little fresh pow over them. My skis could have used a fresh coat of wax so it was a little slow. For the bump lovers out there, they started seeding the bumps on Tenth.

I thought the crowds would be worse today. It was more crowded then a typical Friday but still not bad. It was nice having conversations with a few interesting people on the lift.

Overall I'm glad I got my lazy arse out of bed to ski today. It's still not officially winter and I've already got my moneys worth out of my pass. Any more days are just gravy. Get out and enjoy while conditions are still good.

Even more motivation for me to get up there tomorrow and ski them before the rain Sunday turns them into lumps of ice.

It looked like they just started seeding the bumps, they weren't very big today. Sorry, I should have been more specific.
