Wachusett Opening Day

Any Wachusett-ites here heading up next Friday for opening? I'll be there by 8:30 hoping for one of the first chairs. I'll probably stay until the sun goes down (maybe even 10).

This is looking like the first time since the epic 2002 early season they'll reach scheduled opening day. I can't wait!

They were blowing snow yesterday when I went by at 4 am and again at 4 pm. The trails looked mostly covered from my vantage point on 140. If the cold weather holds, you should be all set.
