My wife and I really want to get an old chair at some point to put in our basement when we refinish it. Not sure I want a quad though. Would prefer an old double...

Agreed. I'm in the market for a Hall double.

(My wife is from Watertown, NY where they were made so it has extra appeal for that reason.)

I might pick up one of the Wachusett chairs for outside. Build a frame for it and not have to worry about the kids breaking my lawn furniture.

Should go nice with the snowmaking system... ;)

We're looking for a swing set for the kids so I sent the link to my wife.

She asked me if I was on crack.

I don't think she understands me.

i too am searching for an old chair lift for a out side bench, but a quad might be too big, it was only a few years ago that temple was selling off their centerpole quad chairs, you would need a u haul or a big pick up truck to carry one of those chairs around. - too bad, the bench will have to wait

I think the ad is a bit misleading, because it shows two photos of quad chairs still on the line (I have no clue why they would sell modern chairs off a high speed quad).

The photo below shows triple chairs, likely left over from the lift they reinstalled a few years ago - my guess is that these in fact are the ones for sale.

If anyone is interested in a double chair, we've still got some of the old Vista Double charis available at Bolton (and the snow has finally melted sufficiently that we can get at them again). I think we're looking for about $200 picked up, and retrofitting them to a bench or swing would be your deal after you pick it up (full-size pickups strongly recommended). 802-434-3444 or info@boltonvalley.com for details.

The two chairlifts at Campgaw Mtn. in New Jersey are old deisel powered Halls. They're not for sale though because they are still being used, but maybe one day they will replace one of them and sell the chairs.
