Ron look so out of shape in his one-piece. Dude is in amazing shape.
He's got that round bald head that makes him look soft. After watching him work out on those bleachers I wouldn't want to tangle with him.

I'm not going to touch #3 other than to say it's "ski the East"The success of the future with Meathead Films is the following (in no particular order):
3) Add Snowboarding...
4) Take a trip out West... surprise everybody with some terrain that you hiked and skied out West... why not... show people what you can do... just because you are an east coast film company doesn't meant that you have to ski only the east coast...

The funny thing is that Tuckerman Ravine is merely the entry point from which most people begin exploring Mount Washington. There are so many options on that Mountain Range and many of them are pretty remote and not easily attainable by many people. I can understand not doing Tuckerman because they have done it before and/or it is a popular spot. But they are over looking some of the premier backcountry in the Northeast by skipping over the entire Presidential range. In terms of Whiteface, Sugarloaf, Tucks, I think they should shoot more in some of these locations. I was stoked to see Cannon this year. They dont' do tucks anymore for two reasons. 1) they used to film there a lot in their old movies (ie elevated 2003 and schooled 2004) and 2) they want to start showing backcountry that people are blown away at. everyone has already done tucks - to the extent that some don't really see it as backcountry anymore. That's their opinion anyways.
Hey, anyone know anything about why some of the guys in the first few movies don't appear on the website any more? Specifically Joe Morabito, Simon Thompson, Jason Ghikadis, and Andrew Whiteford. Those guys seemed like the more well rounded of the skiers they had... I wonder why they dissappeared? Also that tele guy who summitted Everest... what was his name?

The everest guy was Dave Watson?? I think, he is still on there- all red suit- halloween scene with Rooster, etc... I know, I would like to see particularly Simon come back. He was one of the most well rounded skiers I have seen in their films may it be back country or park.
Joe, andrew, and one other dude all moved out to Jackson last year. I think poor winter of 2006 did em in. Also just wanted to try something new. Andrew finished 4th in the semifinals of the Jackson Hole open last year. Pretty damn good. Simon is now in Whistler. Jason isn't skiing much anymore. Kinda burned out.
Yeah, hopefully they come back. Saw Joe a few times last year in JH and Alta. I bet he comes back in a year or two. I'll be back next year (assuming I get into the law school I want to). Hopefully ski a lot more with the Meatheads and get them into the White mountain backcountry.
