I have 2 at 75 degrees:

April 19, 2008 at Mt. Snow. Lots of snow left so it was odd skiing in shorts in the woods.
April 10, 2005 at Wachusett.

Otherwise, had a few around 60 degrees. Did a few of those in too little clothes (shorts and a light long-sleeved shirt) as well as overdressing big time (that sucked worse). But, last year's closing day at Mt. Snow I found nice wind pants and a hoodie were perfect, plus when the sun came out for lift rides I could go to the t-shirt for a little while.

Back in 1998 I skied Sugarbush when it was in the upper 70s. I've also skied Blue mountain when it was close to 80 degrees. On both occasions, the snow was pretty fast since it was melting so fast. Last year on April 19th at Killington is was 74 degrees at the K1 base..

If it's warm..I prefer polo shirt tucked into my ski pants and no gloves..gloves are for gapers if it's over 50 degrees. I've skied in shorts before and the problem was the pockets..in my snowpants, I have cargo pockets to keep my wallet, keys and steeze

I hit a sunny day at Hunter in late March some time in the early 1990's. The temperature reached 68 degrees.

New one: 91 at the base and 75 at the summit at Sugarbush yesterday. I think it crossed the line of "too hot to ski"... just took a lot out of you as the day went on.

Not sure who told you that but I was watching the official temp at the base pretty much all day and it was 79F most of the afternoon but hit 80F at around 3PM.
