Conditions frozen/loose granular

Took advantage of their $7 lift tickets (thanks to the Patriots) to ski for 2 hours on my drive up to Franconia. Conditions were what you would expect based on the weather this week. I only arrived at 2:00 so I only had time for 9 runs. The best skiing was actually in their park off of the pony/poma lift, as they were blowing nice fan gun snow on it. They were also blowing under the main quad. The summit double area was completely frozen. The best top to bottom run I had was upper Bobby's to Sel's choice. All things considered it wasn't bad based on the weather lately, but I would not have payed much more money for it. Stark contrast to the skiing I had in southern Vermont just 9 days ago.

Probably will be at Bretton Woods tomorrow as they are only charging $25 for skiing on Xmas day.

Nice. Was there as well but in the AM. On skis at 930 and back to parking lot by 12:15. Rode the high country twice....frozen as you mentioned. Far skiers left of the quad can't remember trail names was probably the 'best' run of the morning
Hard to beat 7 bucks on a sunny day though even if conditions were rather marginal
