Looks like the kids have Wed off from school, thinking of bugging out of work and getting in something, but my ski budgets tight right this second. Who's open, and most importantly, whos open AND has some good deals going on?

Sunday River is open, but I don't know about any deals. The usual rate is discounted now due to the limited terrain. Yesterday the skiing was fantastic. It looks like a mix or maybe all rain tomorrow so who knows what Wed will be like, but I plan to ski Wed. afternoon.

I would wait until pretty deep into Tuesday before deciding to do a big drive and ski on Wednesday. Some mountains may have nothing but groomed out death cookies.

Just tracking VT and NH on NOAA and it seems like the Franconia Notch area is a sure thing for snow tomorrow into Wed. Cannon/Wildcat doesn't open until the 28th. Do you think they might open early due to the snow fall they're expected to get?

Doubt it. Wouldn't be worth the cash for the most part. I'm REEEEAALY thinkin Sunday River for Wed, depending on what the forcast does tommorow.

I'll be watching the forcast closely tomorrow. Sunday river might be a good option.

Not a chance. Employee scheduling and lack of profitability aside, they will only be skiing on man made terrain so the additional snowfall won't change much for them.

SR got about 1" last night, flurries right now. There was just a dusting over the weekend.

I'm looking at 6" of new wet slop on the ground at 2000' at Killington. It's now 33 degrees alternating between a light drizzle and wet snow. No telling what it's doing at the top.
