Weekend Thread..first weekend in May..

Hey All,

It's almost the weekend..what is everybody up to???

Thursday evening...4:30PM appointment..then maybe to the bar for some libations and then a long walk in the rain with my mad steezy umbrella..singing in the rain..yes singing in the rain..

Friday...Work..running..clean apartment..get posted up like a thumbtack..my buddy Dan just got engaged so maybe I'll buy him a bottle of booze.

Saturday..Kentucky Derby day..put on my steeziest bow tie..and ride the coin operated horse outside the Supermarket..clean my apartment some more(My goal is 3 hours of cleaning..yikes).

Sunday..sleep late..10:30AM tee time with my Dad and his buddy..drink beers..pizza or BBQ at my parents house..Laundry..

Errbody have an awesome weekend...JEA!!!!!

Um, actually a pretty nice litte saturday, we're going to Home Depot, gonna buy some wallpaper, maybe buy some flooring, stuff like that. Maybe Bed, Bath and Beyond I don't know, I don't know if we'll have enough time.

Tackling all the yard work I've been neglecting the last few weekends while skiing. That should just about take up the entire weekend

This will however give me the perfect excuse to check out the new Lowes that opened up last week 1/2 way between my home and office

Friday nite - watch the Sox and the Habs
Saturday day - Green Up Day (www.greenupvermont.org).
Saturday night....depends. If the Habs win Friday we're gonna go to Montreal for the night. We'll be at Peel Pub watching the game . If the Habs lose we'll stay put & probably just go out for pizza or something.
Sunday - see above for Montreal. If not, gardening/yardwork.

I'm working saturday and sunday, just like every other weekend in May. In fact, I think I'm working 40 days straight without a day off. May sucks. Paychecks will be good though.

I'd bet that "really, really, really tired mom of young kids" sleep is pretty darned close to a full on coma (atleast it is in my household), and about the only thing that could awaken one from such a deep sleep is if the ear plugs AREN'T in and there's just the slighest of whimpers from one of the kids (Mom ears are ridiculously sensitive to the sounds of their own kids) - random body appendage pokeage just isn't enough to awaken one from this type of sleep!
