On of my best friends died of MS... We skied together and shared rental houses at Hunter all the time.. She wanted some ashed scattered at Hunter... We obliged... And scattered them over a cliff on the Jimmy Heauga trail(A famous skier who has MS) - we now call that turn the "hi Donna" turn...

Based on what people have to say in this thread..I better capitalize off the old folks now because the next two generation..(baby Boomers)(Baby Boomer offspring..generation X and Y) want no part in a purchase of a personalized piece of granite..a lasting tribute to a loved one....ahahahahahahahahaha

I want my ashes to be spread atop Everest. Hopefully my kids are good mountain climbers! :)
No kidding because I sure as heck ain't going there! ;)

Ashes to ashes, dust to dust... No tombstone for me. It's a waste of land. I told Brian he could scatter my ashes wherever he wanted. I'm planning on going first. ;)

We have a family plot in Arkansas- the land won't be used for anything else. I want to die in that county and be buried within 24 hours without crossing county lines, so I don't have to be embalmed and can go in a pine box, just like my grandpappy did, and his grandpappy before him.

Honeslty, though, I have no intention of dying, but if I do, cremate me and put me out with the kitty litter. Or in with it, whichever suits.

My youngest recently suggested one after one of her momentary frustrations to find me so I can immediatly drop whatever I am doing and pick her up at school as she and a friend wanted a ride to the mall.

last man to not have a cell phone

works for me

Does Tupperware sell caskets ? I like the idea of burping the lid to lock in freshness.
As for my epitaph it should read " 100% post recycled consumer "
