You've got to have the end of the ski season so you can look forward to the start. Too bad the start and the end are so close, and the end and the start so far apart.

Mr. Unpopular here - :x

May is hands-down the best month of the year. The weather finally warms up permanently, there's no more threat of snow, the grass greens up and the flowers come out, and camping/hiking season is just around the corner.
SWEEEET! I too prefer May. It has its own foliage season even more spectacular than autumn's...all the grey/brown starts turning a soft green/yellow as it works its way to deep, rich green, the poplar starts unfurling its early blossoms...singing birds in the morning...peepers at night, the smell of lilacs and freshly cut lawn....I love it, love it, love it.

I voted for January, as it is the month that the coldest part of the winter is in (around January 28th)and I love cold weather. :D

My second favorite would be April, as the gardener in me loves to see the flowers and the grass emerge and turn green.

I am born in November, and it has to be the ugliest month of the year. Typically the landscape is brown and lifeless, and it is still to early for snowcover to cheer things up. The good thing about being born on November 12th, is that snowmaking usually starts up the season around that date. 8)

October is winning! Awesome! I'm surprised!

I love the temperature change, wearing fall clothes and earth colors, black, grey.... I love pumpkins and halloween decorations, movies, scary music, the Topsfield Fair, the leaves on the ground, haunted attractions and the transformation of amusement parks to haunted theme parks...riding Boulder Dash at Lake Compounce in the dark...apple crisp, candied apples, watching Edward Scissorhands...
