After a day of turns at Loon Mountain we generally go to The Common Man in Lincoln or The Woodstock Inn in Woodstock after leaving Cannon.

At Killington, we empty a few Long Trails at the Mittersell or go for some Black & Tans at the Inn at the Long Trail, mmm, mmm good!

My favorite place after a long day of turns is in bed sleeping ;)

I've never skied Loon or Cannon, but I have been to the Station (casual restaurant at the back of the Woodstock Inn) many times and the Common Man a few times. They are both at the very top of our list for when we're in the area :)

Food...

Gotta have food! Nothing like a nice bowl of french onion soup and a big steak and a couple of baked potatoes. After that I like to be in the hot tub with my wife. ;)

I don't ski Loon or Cannon much now, but The Station always was a great choice. I'll second that!

Elm City Brewing in Keene, happens fall in line with my trip home from Magic, but that's off the beaten track for most.

More often than not, it's crack a beer in the patrol room after sweep, pull the boots off, pack up and head home.

it used to be the Shovel Handle in Jackson, NH, but they went and made it into some upscale, snotty function hall. Blah. Now, I'm a fan of either Tuckerman's Tavern or the Shannon Door.

That would be my....

...sauna. Then shower, and social hour with ski dvd's (muted) on the big screen, and favorite tunes in the background. Later, sit by the fire and jot down some notes in my ski journal....if I'm not sleeping and drooling by then.

I prefer going back to the condo getting a shower, putting on some comfortable clothes and sitting by the fire and watching football or hockey. I get to bed early to get up early. 1st turns.
