A. If there's that much of a drug problem, the cops already know about it.

B. He was reporting a potential predator. Pretty much considered low lifes across the board, I doubt the gangs would mind too much.

Exactly. Reporting drug activity, or more specificly the witnessing of a drug deal, could potentially put you at risk for recourse. However, I highly doubt that any gang makes it their business to protect sexual predators. I think you did the right thing.

I would report it anymously. If people want to smoke drugs that is fine but not if children are in danger.
