Where is the best resorts in the new England area

Can I have some sugesions for where the best resorts are in this area? I plan to go boarding in Early December which is not the best time but hey its better then nothing.

Can I have some suggested accomadation as well.

Hey 8, I saw your post the first day it was up, but I assumed a fellow boarder would've responded by now. I've noticed quite a dropoff in the number of posts lately. Not sure why.

Anyway, to answer your question, Killington is definitely your best bet for December skiing...er, Riding... in the northeast. I wish it wasn't, but it is. No other resort has the combination of great location and incredible snowmaking ability that killington has. Plus they usually get at least one of their snowboard parks set up as soon as possible. (although last week it was only a railslide) No one else comes close to the amount of snow and terrain that they have by mid-December.

As for accomodations, there are a ton of places to stay within 10 minutes of the slopes. The Killington Condos are great. Just do a little research on Killington.com to pick the one you like. And if you want to go cheap (well, cheaper) you can stay at one of the many motels in the area. Some are nicer than others, but I've stayed at almost all of them, and none are scary. Just go to any AAA office and get a Vermont Tour Book. It lists them all.
