Planning on heading up to VT with Randi this Friday. We are leaning towards Magic, but not sure how the conditions will be there. If the conditions at Magic are not that good, what are some other suggestions? I would also like to hit up SB or MRG, but I don't know if I am up for that kind of drive for a day trip. Bromley is another option, never had a bad day there. Or maybe we will give Okemo a try and use our Sundown discount, I have not been to Okemo in over 10 years.

Isn't the MRV only like about 3 hours for you? If I was that close, I would day trip up there all the time.

I'd go to magic. It looks like a monsoon coming through for sunday night so this may be it for magic, as far as skiing really well, for a little while.

then again, if you go there, the lift won't run anyway.......

If I were headin to Southern Vermont tomorrow, it'd be Okemo first (if you have a discount), Stratton, then Bromley.

I'll be at Mt. Snow tomorrow. I'm going with a friend on a bus trip run by Competitive Edge Ski & Bike Shop. It's a great price: $85 includes bus, lift ticket, dinner at the Snow Barn & beer for the bus ride home.

If I wasn't going on this trip & wanted to ski tomorrow, I'd hit Magic for the reasons 2knees cites plus its such a great mountain that I've yet to have a bad day there.

At SB and Okemo you get discounts with your Sundown pass.

Thanks Jeff, didn't not know about the SB discount,

Seeing how this will be Randi's first trip up north for the season the choice will be hers, and she wants to ski SB.

What he said plus you will ahve the mountain to yourself. I'd be surprised if there are more than 60 people there.

if i was skiing tomorrow i'd give Bromely some thought.. it is forecast to be a sunny day with temps in 30s. Bromely reports all trails open, including their glades. could be a fun day in the sun.

But if Randi is up for SB that's not a bad call either :)

Thanks Gary, that's Another discount I didn't know about.

Right now the plan is SB. But if for some reason when we get up in the morning we are not on the mood for the drive it's going to be either Magic or Bromley.

Does anyone know the quickest way to SB? It seems the way I ussually go has a fair amount of back tracking once I get off the highway.

If you go to Magic tomorrow (follow the original gut feeling), I will be there with my son for reasons previously stated. I'll be on the lookout. $39.00 lift tickets and been closed the last three days......................

It is great to have so many good options. Really can't go wrong with any of them.
