Going to SB for at least one day, possibly MRG the other day. Going with my dad and he's not into moguls so much anymore.. SB has some groomed expert stuff and MRG doesn't, so he might not want to go there. Guess I'll see.

MRG Saturday looks very likely unless Jay delivers (they are calling for 1-2' on the Jay web page... that is a pretty big range IMO). Jay probably on Sunday.

Sugarbush and MRG got the best of the snow the past couple of days with a lot more before the weekend. The rain stayed south of the MRV. Check out their reports.

the Loaf. If money were no object we'd head for N VT for the change of scenery and the extra few inches, but it's hard to pay day ticket prices when there's new snow on the pass.

Have fun, all.

Why "Rumble" when you can have an "Empire"?

I'll be at Whiteface this weekend. WF will have picked up a couple feet of snow from this storm and snow squalls are predicted into the weekend. With that said-- Cloudspin, Mackenzie, and Empire should be ripe.

Right where I want to be
It's going to be POWDER CENTRAL at Mad River Glen today as we picked up a solid 12" overnight. This on top of the 8-10" yesterday, on top of the 4-6" from the day before that so we will be approaching EPIC skiing conditions today on Gen. Stark Mountain. I was no math major but I think that like 2 feet in the past 3 days!

I am seriously thinking about taking a trip to the bush on Monday. That is the first opportunity I will have to get out of the catskills where grass is the primary surface right now.
