Great pics Skip!!! I just thank god I've been skiing powder for over 10 years or I would have had a hell of a time thursday and friday. having only 82mm skis 174 length was murder but if you kept them up and the speed just right it was ok..until we slammed into 4 feet of it on the crossover to 44..and at the top of hellgate. So I didn't get to test out the powder board until Sunday and Monday..but it was all moguls. No matter I know how they do in the deep stuff and now I know they can handle hardpack bumps as well. Almost the best 4 days in the east for me for sure. I've had better deep snow years ago at both Belleayre and Killington with 3 foot dumps of light powder..just couldn't ski them as well. this makes the history books for sure!!!!

Wednesday ,one of mybest ever at sb. In31 years here's why . 1.not to busy 2.snowed30i nched 3. A snowed all day !!! Sicday it's still so fresh inmmy mind itblurrs out the hundreds of others!!!hope we get more cold snow spring is coming quick ! Itsbeenlike wintercondensed into one week. See you out there!!! Did4 runs in slide yesterday only my 2day out there this year!!! Creamy deluxe. Hooked with. Couple coaches rick, diggity and alex from montpelier. Wow, back working . I think it will corn this week???

Love this statement and agree 100%.
The conditions have been "good" so far in the mountains of Maine, but Friday and Sunday were some of the best they have been in years. (for me)
Like some others, I am still new to the sport (year 5 ) but had a ton of fun in the pow. Top 3 days of the year for sure and top 5 since I have started skiing.

You should get your butt out west then. While this was a great storm the water content of the snow was quite high and while the skiing was good imagine that much dry snow and you have Utah and Colorado. That is true floating.

Had a great time on Sunday, but not the best ever. That was not powder, at least at Belleayre. Buy a plane ticket and you'll figure it out if you're lucky enough to have the weather cooperate. Powder = mystical floating sensation. Powder = you can't build snowmen. Think sugar. That was a whole lot of heavy snow. I'll take it! I took a few fresh lines through the woods but thought the bump trails were more fun. Great base for the spring.

skied Stratton on Wednesday. My best ski day I have ever had. It was a combination of the awesome conditions, and the people I was with. Skiing all day, and never having the trails get tracked out. Was on my Rossi B-Sqauds(100 under foot) and loved the skiing. This was the lightest snow I have ever skied.
Spent yesterday at whindam. We had our shop party there and all of our reps showed up with next years skis to play on. Spent the morning testing out the skis that we will actually sell, and had a great time. After lunch I grabbed some Line Prophet 115's and went out searching for some stashes. Found totally un-tracked woods lines that were AWESOME! Had around 10 runs through the woods that I will never forget. Got the true meaning of floating on those skiis, and I WILL own a pair next year. The snow was not powder, but there was definatly sinking going on. I have skied much denser snow before.
