I decided against going today, temp didn't hit 40 at my house till around noon and the skies were overcast. I think MrMagic was suppose to be skiing this afternoon, hopefully he comes back with a report.

Tomorrow should be a lot better.

I bet it's going to be good tomorrow. It's not going to get that cold overnight, and it's going to be warm during the day. I'm planning on getting there around 1pm.

I wanted to go. But I got stuck at a child's birthday party (didn't realize the grown-ups had to stay; it was our first) and then I was supposed to do homework but I got sidetracked again... signed up for a race, started reading up on tri-training, and went for a run. Tomorrow I will not get to go. Homework. But I'll be with you guys in spirit! Sucks... first weekend I will miss entirely in a while.

I was there from 2-4PM and for the most part they were skiing nicely. Only sketchy part was down below the kickers, but after that pure sweetness. They should be good from 11:00AM on tomorrow. Enjoy!

Sundown is a fun little mountain. Saturday was great weather and only one person was on the hill from Alpine Zone. The lines on Gunny are as tight as Dolly Parton's :-osweater and a ton of fun. I got on the hill at 12:15 and took my last run at 6:15 with a 30 minute lunch. I was exhausted at the end of the day. It felt like cardiac arrest trying to ski from top to bottom.
Sorry I missed Sunday looked like a ton of fun.

I think they should rename the trail to the Alpine Zone.:grin::grin:
