High heat and humidity is enough to do in strongest of winter lovers. I spent a week on the beach slapped down with cooking oil, then fried to a beautiful burned red. Why do people do this to themselves? I was worse than an Alaskan Husky at 70 degrees, seeking out shade and ice. Well, I guess it makes me more appreciative of snow, ANY snow, and vow not to whine about the rain. Been kinda nice though, no need to mow the lawn. It's all hibernated.

I have two more summertime distractions before I can focus on the :fangun:
Betting some money on the ponies for a couple of days and dropping off child #2 at college (as she silently squeals shrieks of joy at our departure...)
