Right where I want to be
Went with 2 other families for a total of 7 adults and 7 kids age 6-12. 2 snowboarders, 1 tele, and 11 skiers. Now to the skiing. Rode the summit quad for most of the day. Upper polecat was closed all day. To get to the far skier's right trails you had to take the Tomcat lift which really only eliminates the upper polcat trail. Conditions were great on the groomed trails in the morning and early afternoon. By late day they were getting scrapped off. The ungroomed trails were lots of fun. There were lots of rocks and underbrush to ski around but to me that is fun. The bumps while not spring soft but had enough snow to get a hold on. Temps were low, right around 0 but no real wind until 1:30 or so. The kids and I found some trees to ski in. Some a little tight off of the upper wildcat trail for the tele's. All in all a good day. I have been there with better conditions but have been there with much worse as well.

Cool - thanks for the report. I imagine Wildcat has to be a blast on a powder day. However, Wildcat is a great "Rip the Groomers" mountain. Hope to get over there at least once this year.

Bumps on Tomcat Schuss were great Saturday! Upper Polecat was open when I headed to the Schuss.
