Awesome day, defiantly one of the best of the year. Met up with eatskisleep at around 10 and skied woods basically the whole morning then did bumps in the afternoon. Conditions just kept getting better as the day progressed. I think we got 20 or so runs in and none of them were more than 1/3 groomers.

Here are some pictures: (I'll go for quantity instead of quality)

Here's a bunch of woods of Mickey (eatskisleep):

Awesome pictures Austin and great skiing with you. My best day of the season without a doubt. I'll have to get up some of my pictures soon. "It'll open up. Look, it seems brighters over there." Never before have I skied so much woods or bumps. Epic.

Hmmm...those lines in the trees look familiar.

Nice to see Wildcat is still going off.

I heard that the East Coast woods can be tight... Austin bushwhacking for a solid 20 minutes through this stuff. Snow was pole deep, and it was very steep. I think I made one turn in a good 300 vert:

After the 20 or so minutes of bushwhacking we were rewarded with this:

But soon to find out it was tracked out in places and there were stumps :smash: watch out on a powder day:

I'll post MANY pictures later

Conditions like that and it is still April (yes that is flowing water):

Yet, it was a "Winter Wonderland" as some would call it:

Steep entrances lead to steeper skiing:

Longest lift-lines of the day:

Gondi-Line a bit rocky but still very skiable:

Sadly, I don't think I will be there much next year since I will be going to UVM. Maybe a day or two during break but that's it. Mickey will probably still be there a bunch next year though.

Also Mickey: That air shot in T-brook actually came out pretty good. Nice pics!

Yep, I'd be willing to give you a tour of the place.

Ok, that stuff looks real nice... you're really making me reconsider my Sunday plans!

But you'd have to tell me where all that goodness is ;)

oh, I know the mountain - at least the stuff on the map. I just don't know where most of the stashes are and I don't want to hit them alone.

Yeah that's what I meant when I said "tour" aka "show you some of the good stuff" :snow: No, you sure wouldn't want to hit that stuff alone.

Show, Don't tell policy here. Wouldn't want to see the wrong person get in something over their head.
