We started at Wildcat at 9:30 today after a slow ride on some sketching roads. very icy cutting across the lakes region (rt25) Couple of accidents - Range rover flipped over on its roof another car spun out. Any way started skiing at 9:30 and the top of the mountain was pretty good. they got about 3-4 inches on the top half of the mountain. They claimed 9 runs I would call it 4. There was 3 runs at the top funneling into middle wildcat trial then into the trail with the top of the zipline on it. The top 3 runs were great, the bottom trail was hardpack but it could be skied on skiers left. We decided at noon to head down to Attitash thinking they blow more snow and it may be softer down lower.
The grass is always greener. We ate lunch and were back on the slopes by 12:45. The top half of Attitash was a skating rink. The bottom half was only slightly better with dusty snow on top of hardpack. We finished up at 3:30 and headed back south.
Anyway we did have some fun and it was good to get out but I WANT MORE SNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I want to ski the real Wildcat that I know and love.
