Wildcat- Lost Polecat trail?

After looking at a topo map and a old map from teach skis website i saw that there was a trail of upper polecat. So what is the story with it, does anyone know anything about it and why it is gone. It must of been a pretty long time ago because there is no sign of it on an ariel photo. Just though it was really strange why they would just abandom a trail :-?

Those maps are accurate. It is just showing the section of trail that has the small island of krumoltz.

theres no islands in that picture, there higher up

the red is the estamite of where the trail is

Hmm, youre right. I can see the island higher up. Looks like some detective work for me next time i'm up.

ya me too, sure looks dense there though. It does look slightly indented if u look at an ariel photo from really far away though
