Wind turbine at Wachusett

When I read about Zephyr at Jiminy Peak, I always thought that the top of Wachusett Mountain would be perfect for wind turbine due to paved road access and large and flat summit. We'll, I'm glad I was not the only one who thought about it.

Cool, I was there (at the base) on Thursday and had no idea that was going on. You'd think they would have something posted about it.

Sounds like the turbines aren't owned by the ski area, but are expected to supply 40% of the power to the nearby town of Princeton. Still in the middle of the night, maybe they will generate some cheap electricity for snow making...
