We'll be staying in Barre Vt. next week and plan on hitting those 3 places. I was looking at the extended forecast and noticed they were calling for one day to be windy. I figured it might be good to have a strategy if we did encounter a day where there may be wind holds. My only day at Sugarloaf was somewhat dissappointing because of the wind. Even the Spillway chairs shut down after a while. Timberline was down all day and I never got to the summit. We encountered wind holds at the Bush a couple of years ago, but they still had enough lower lifts going to have a good time. Which place would be the least effected generally speaking?
Thanks!

Burke is best if there is wind. Wind is rarely a factor there. SB out of those choices has the most wind holds in my experience.

For the Bush, it definitely depends on the wind direction. But windholds are definitely not foreign to the hill! If the winds are from the south west, or from the north east, you're pretty safe, since that wind would blow down/up the chairs. Otherwise, if it's windy, there's a chance that something will be down.

I agree with Burke on a windy day.
