Anyone been using the State (NY, VT, NH, ME) highway conditions reports via telephone (wgich complement their web sites)?

For a state agency (known for their abysmal "customer service"), I've been very impressed over the last two years with the timeliness and accuracy of current road conditions. It not only helps with the travel but also gives a good idea what to expect as you get close to your destination (it's like an instant snow report.) It's also another tool that keeps me entertained on the highway in the wee early morning hours of a daytrip.
