Is anyone else watching the show wipeout? I keep forgetting to watch it on TV, instead I watch a few episodes on Hulu.com when I remember. Pretty entertaining, they do a good job putting it together and the commentary is funny. Reminds me a lot of that show that was on for a while, Most Extreme Elimination Challenge (MXC), where they dubbed in English commentary over an old Japanese game show that did similar stunts and obstacle courses.

The Japanese version reminded me of the "original" Iron Chef. Nothing holds a candle to the Japanese version of Iron Chef.

"I beleive the challenger is making a duckfart glaze!"

I like wipeout. Its gotta be a lot tougher than it looks. Also, the sound effects they dub in on some of the crashes are great.

I'm sure it's very difficult, but it's still fun to watch people flail around. I like when they spin the people around on that turn table for a while and then make them do obstacles. The contestants that are left for the 4th try are so dizzy I don't think they even know where they are half the time.

true dat. Ever try that game where you put your forehead on a baseball bat and spin around it 5x? It looks easy but when you stand up the freakin earth tilts. I did it at Iceman's sports day last year and I crashed right into the gym wall.

I've seen it done, but never tried it. Sometimes I'll spin my kids around and enjoy the hilarity as we both try to stay standing.

Wipeout is a trip. Nothing compares to MXC though, that show had me laughing 'til my sides hurt.

I have never watched this, but I could totally see the AZ team filling out the line up!

Should we start a poll?
Which AZer would win in a Wipeout grudgematch?

Not me, that's for sure. It would be fun to try the obstacles though.

I watched most of the first season. It hasn't really gotten me interested this year. I guess you can only watch so many of the same jokes over again. It would definitely be fun to try.

I only watched it a few times but it is pretty entertaining. Has anyone ever made it across the giant balls? Trying to run across the flat rocks in the Jap version was pretty funny too.

I saw someone make it across the big balls once. The flat rocks on the Jap version were really good.
