Hate the fake Stratton village and not much of a fan of Lincoln. North Conway is much better than Lincoln.

Fake Village bullshit aside, at least Stratton has at least one groomed double black (very rare indeed) and plenty of groomed blacks

stratton village is a sad little thing. lincoln is one street with a few shopping centers, lahouts, and the common man.

there really arent 'ski towns' at most eastern ski areas.

Well we are headed up Friday for the weekend to Stratton. ( our one visit for the season). Staying at the Black Bear. Will probably hit Grizzlies (in the Base Lodge), Mulligans, maybe 802, and have dinner at the Fire Tower (if I can get res). Will let you know how it is.
