Has anyone every skied at Woodbury before? It looks like they have only 1 trail open; I wonder if that covers all 300 feet of vertical.

So it looks like my options for tomorrow are:

Drive 2:11 to Killington, spend $49 for 600 ft of vertical, wait on line for 15 minutes (according to their website)
Drive 2:26 to Woodbury, spend $39 for 300 ft of vertical, Im guessing short lines for lift?

Originally planned on going to Belleayre tomorrow, but it doesn't look like they're opening tomorrow as originally scheduled. (I know that for at least 3 of the past 4 years, they've not been able to stick to their original anticipated opening date.)

Woodbury tommorrow might not even be an option. While Rod is very aggressive about using his fanguns as early as possible. I'm guessing that the forcasted temps in the mid 50's for CT today combined with the folks who will show up and use the slope today will take a big toll on that glorified frozen grass. To top it off, tonght's temps aren't forcasted to be as cold as last nights

Don't be fooled. Its not worth the drive. I live 10 minutes from Woodbury and wouldn't make the drive.

Love that! Ever since Bellearye has given their projected opening date, it slips! Its their fault for this warm weather. If they did not have a date, it would have been cold!

It's all hype.. All it does is get people soked.. I guess it could help out the ski house rentals by starting early..

But... i mean.. It's the Catskills and you can't guarantee anything weather wise..

Nothing would make me happier then to be able to drive over to Bell for some turns.. But it aint gonna happen any time soon..
