good for you. stowe is great. damn shame im a weekends+holidays only guy.
I wouldn't touch Stowe on a weekend with a 10 foot pole. Guy on the lift on Monday said Saturday traffic was backed up to Piecasso at one point.

Using Indy on Sundays has worked out very well on the way up. I'm lucky in a way to not have true weekends off at work. I've missed a fair number of other events and family gatherings and stuff like that on Saturdays, but it works out nicely for ski season.

2/2 to 2/7 at Gore plus 2/11@Belle. Several concussions (not skiing related) took me out for a bit. So 17 and will probably do a stretch at Gore after this week. Someday I will find you JimG although I'm sure you'll out ski me. I'll slow you down but I will bring good beer.

Sorry to hear about the concussions. Those are nothing to play around with. Glad you're OK.

The last month I've spent mostly up in VT at K. Conditions up there have steadily improved and are now primo. And looking like they will improve more this coming week. I was in the Cats today, I went to Hunter to get my new J skis bindings and a Phantom glide treatment. Did not ski. But with new boards and the favorable weather patterns I'm so stoked to get back up to K I'm having a tough time sitting still.

Had a great week up north. Went to Stowe 2/11. Then 3 powder days in a row at Bolton Wednesday and Stowe Thursday and Friday. Even though wind was howling Friday everything ran except the gondola. Friday was day 44 and surprisingly empty slopes.

Fun day even with a mixed bag of precipitation. Started with 3” of heavy snow and then switched to sleet/freezing rain for about an hour, then finished the day with a couple inches more snow. Best runs were Tin Woodsman/LostPrincess, Shockwave, and White Heat.

27. 2/14/25 Ragged Mtn
First time to Ragged. What a fun mountain! Skis way bigger than its vertical suggests. The glades are fun even though they are pretty thin cover right now. Glad I had my rock skis for that. I think my favorite runs were Sweepstakes, Headwall to Raggae Glades, and the whole Ravine area. Can’t wait to get back with a little more snow
