We're quickly approaching winter in the Northeast. Any forecast beyond 3 or 4 days should be taken with a grain of salt.

My guru is amazing...he's hit long range forecasts a month out that were right on the money. He called me Saturday to discuss going up to K on Sunday which neither of us could do based on prior commitments. Then he laid his forecast on me, and he's rarely wrong.

Hope he is this time though.

Classic western trough setting up for the next 5-8 days. Utah, Tahoe & the Northwest will be seeing SIGNIFIGANT snowfall from this strong pacific flow. I would not be suprised to see the Cottonwood resorts (Brighton, Snowbird) up and running by early next week. Get those frequent flyer miles warmed up!
