Lezyne LED Deca Drive Front Light

BK.jpg

Whether you're doing an after-dark commute or a nighttime trail ride, you want a bright light not only to see where you're going, but also to illuminate you to traffic and other riders. Leave it to Lezyne to create a series of easily mountable headlights that lead the charge into the dark. The Lezyne Deca Drive Front Light is its second brightest light marked by precise workmanship and attention to all the details you need in a headlight.
From its tire pumps to multi-tools, Lezyne is known for its fine craftsmanship and innovative design. The Deca Drive Light is no exception. For starters, the Deca is constructed of aluminum. But, the body of the light isn't just stamped from a mold on an assembly line. It's CNC-machined. CNC machining, or Computer Numerical Control, is a process that uses computers instead of humans to control the machinery that shapes, cuts, or drills parts. By using a CNC machine, Lezyne is able to create identical and extremely precise parts for its lights because they have removed such factors as human fatigue from the equation. In addition to machined aluminum, Lezyne also used a fiber-reinforced complex matrix for its adjustable clamp. This matrix is highly durable and wear-resistant. The secure clamp is adjustable for either 31.8mm or 25.4mm handlebars. The combination of the two materials creates a light that delivers extreme weather and water resistance.
It's true, looks are important, however the functionality of the Deca trumps its noticeable style. Lezyne used high capacity LIR batteries that are replaceable on-the-fly for maximum illumination when you need it. Additionally, the electronics of the Deca emit light at a constant lumen level. This results in higher overall lumen output for longer periods of time. The MOR, Maximal Optical Reflection lenses, are one-piece optics that create a wider, more uniform beam in front of the user.
The Deca's six settings include two flash modes and four constant. The constant lumens include: 250 for 4:45hours, 400 for 3:00hours, 700 for 1:50hours and 800 for 1:30hours. It features an Overdrive Race Mode that allows you to quickly switch between Overdrive and Economy setting when you need it most. An Intelligent Power Indicator uses red, green, and blue lights during use as well as recharging to show battery levels. A micro USB cable (not included) or the integrated USB stick may be plugged into a computer or wall outlet adapter for convenient and fast recharging of the battery.
The Lezyne Deca Drive Light weighs 256 grams and is available in White and Black.
