Ouch. I keep telling myself that we had great early snow, then suffered a nasty Christmas-week thaw. Maybe if it cools down a bit later, we'll avoid that this year.

Or not, who knows? After October's weather I was convinced we were in for an epic early season. So far it has been an epic fail.
