Hooked up with BackLoafRiver for a nice ride in Waterville. I had ridden around here years agoa nd it was mostly cross country and snowmobile trails. There has been a lot of trail building going on recently and it's great. Lots of new singletrack (some of it is a little spongy still) that is very twisty, with a lot of ups and downs and banked turns. Not technical in the sense there are a lot of stunts, but all the switchbacks and whatnot are challenging and fun. We rode for about and hour and a half. My GPS said it was about 5.5, but I would put it closer to 7.

Were there any bras to go with the sign?

For us, I believe it would be Bro's. And I am clearly the only one who needs it.

Nice getting out with you Jens. I appreciate your patience. It felt good to hit that bridge the second time around. Too bad my chain froze on the climb out. I wish I had a better sense of those trails. Eventually, I will find them all and work it into a good loop with some flow. I really like the new hills we found early on in the ride. I will have to try doing them the other way.

Thanks again for everything yesterday!! Hopefully we can get together and ride again soon.

Ha, I was perfectly happy with the pace. It was just right. A little more time in there and it should be easy to find a good route that doesn't involve all the circling back. Plenty of room for them to expand too.

I'll probably be up there at least one more time this summer and it will likely be a repeat of this weekend. Nice having friends with the party house ...
