Good morning Schweitzer Family,

Due to an overwhelming lack of compliance with our mask policies and social distancing in the rental shop, day lodge, and lift lines during twilight skiing, I have made the decision that Schweitzer will not be offering twilight skiing over the MLK holiday weekend - Friday, Saturday, and Sunday Jan 15 – 17, 2021. I will not continue to tolerate the verbal abuse that has been directed towards our staff as they have attempted to enforce our safety requirements.

We hope this will only be a “pause” but we will need to reassess our approach to twilight skiing before we commit to any future dates.

I guess I did. Yeah, too much of the customer base the night skiing attracts are clearly assholes there.

Well, Northern Idaho has a lot of very conservative people. Sounds like that might be the issue. Or kids just being rude. Or both.
