Maybe there are still some old Xmas trees around they can burn...or stock up on pallets from Telecom...So it appears that they will not be having fireworks and Torch light parade this weekend. After they didn't have it for Martin Luther I was wondering about Presidents Day. That's disappointing. I guess I will have to do my own. LOL
That's a bummer. I've only seen it once as I rarely stay at the mountain but it was fun. I suspect that one of the reasons (probably not the primary reason) is there's zero to do before or after the fireworks. There's no bar open and Rumbles would probably be shutting down at that point if not earlier. So why bother gathering people to the mountain for a 30 minute experience. So it appears that they will not be having fireworks and Torch light parade this weekend.
