I have to say, coming back here has been refreshing. I've mostly been on a hiatus since my first pregnancy since I didn't have much to contribute, seeing as I wasn't really skiing (Brian did a nice job taking my place, though :D). But after a couple of years of mommy forums where all they talk about is what color their kids' poop is that day, how their boobs hurt from whatever breastfeeding woes they're having, whether they're screwing up their kids for life by letting them cry (or not), etc., it's kind of nice to see a forum that is mostly from a guys' point of view... and one that isn't full of that stuff that my life has become consumed by.

Then again, with GSS around, I feel REALLY old these days....

(BTW, that was post 400 for me... only took me 3 years 7 months to get there, LOL!)

I've noticed your triumphant return! It's nice to have you back posting regularly. Plus knowing B's wife is keeping an eye on him in here is kinda funny. Kind of like the mod's moderator. I wonder how he'd react if I suggest banning you. ;) Seriously though, I was always impressed by your passion for a sport you only recently discovered.

Checking up on Brian? Me? Never.... ;)

Seriously though, when I go back and read my old trip reports, it's like reading a foreign language. I feel so out of the loop these days. I miss it. Skiing was my zen and I look forward to getting back into it (or taking on snowboarding). It's just a matter of balancing that and family. Then again this is just a small step in the grand scheme of things...

Thanks, Greg. :D

I enjoy your posts..keep us updated on your babies poop color and your breast-feeding escapades. Ski as much as you can this season...to make up for your lengthy hiatus from the sport...I'm 28 and I make you feel old..So are you 29??

What a sweet young man. :D Though a word of advice? You never ask a lady how old she is....

Actually, I turned 30 this year. For some reason, I thought you were younger.

Yeah, I figured those 2 topics would have moderate levels of success here as well.

Actually my Dads golf buddy said that when a lady asks how old you think she is, always say 27..Alot of people think I'm younger than I am..I get carded alot and college girls dig me. But in under 2 years I'm going to be 30..yikes..
