He will definitely get stupid money this off season. Well, actually smart money as he's definitely starting quarterback material. Good for him. He could have been a back up for Brady for numerous more years making a comfortable living. Now he has the opportunity to go out on his own and achieve what Brady has done.

I just hope he ends up in the NFC so I can actually root for him. Hey Allskiing, maybe your Vike's can sign him.

Definately not going to both buying a Patriots #16 Jersey, as it won't be relevant next season  (or about a 99.8% chance it won't be relevant next season ;) )

What would be even more impressive this season for Cassel would be if Gafney could hold onto the ball more often  Cassel would have atleast 3 more TD's and probably 400+ more yards of passing  On a similar note, I'd bet that a Gafney Patriots Jersey won't be relevant next season!

he's going to get his ass handed to him next week.

who is cassels' backup? you'll see him by the 3rd quarter. and try those lazy outs and over the middle desperation throws against the mighty steelers and you'll be lookin at 6 going the other way. Enjoy your time now Mr. Cassel, for pain and humiliation await you.

come on. we have a week to talk trash here. god knows its already started in my house.

(my wife is a die hard and i mean DIE HARD, patriot fan.) actually, she'll probably go to boston to avoid my taunting on sunday. even though the patriots own the steelers recently.

Even though he's injured, I'll take my pink Jersey wearing Brady fans any day!

I told my buddies that I'm buying a Cassel jersey if the Pats win the Superbowl this year and I'm sticking to that. By the way...whats up with Jabar this season? His drop against the Colts cost us that game.

I'd lump Moss into that question as well. He's certainly made some spectacular catches this year, but he's also dropped some easy ones that have been costly.

The one hander up the side line today was sick

If Jabar had caught the passes that Cassel hit him in the hands/numbers with this season, the Pats would be 9-2 right now instead of 7-4. Unfortunately my gut is telling me that his hands aren't done costing the Pats a game this season  Just as long as it's not next Sunday ;)

Moss today made up for a couple of drops this season IMHO! Santos and Capilletti sounded very sweet calling them as I was driving home from Mount Snow this afternoon(as pathetic as it sounds, I actually timed my drive home today around the Pats/Fins game )
