In my mind, northern New England
Grassi, I guess that was you in a lacrosse sweater. I should have said hello but hesitated. I should have known better. I'll do better next time.

Anyway, Magic was magical last Saturday. Goniff Glade, Twilight Zone (I think they just dropped the rope when I got there), and Broomstick were virtual powder stashes. I went down Heart of Magician and was alone to plunder the powder. Parts of it were still untracked and that was midday. Magician was "open" but looked really rocky and I didn't want to trash my skis. Slide of Hans was closed. Black Line was good except near the bottom where rocks poked out and you had to jump a rock band to get down.

The lift stopped running at around 2 PM. When it looked like it wasn't going to re-open, I skinned up Show Off. After one run, I called it a day and they gave me a voucher.

I will certainly be back and hope to ski with you then.

Considering that it was a holiday Saturday and a race was going on, it was relatively uncrowded. Midweek at Wachusset has more people!
