Disappointing spring at Killington?

Seems like a weak end to the season at Killington. Lots of bad weather (they can't control), Bear and Needles closing with lots of cover, no dumps, bumps getting groomed out, poor BMMC, no Canyon quad this weekend, fences on snowshed crossover......etc, etc, etc. Is it just me, or is this one of the disappointing springs in memory?

Agree 100% I don't think I can get myself to go back there again. It sucks because I grew up skiing there.

In the flatlands of Ct. for a little bit longer.
From the looks of it the weather should make up for it this weekend.
1.-60+ degrees=possible bikini tops or t.t.'s on the girls
2.-pond-skimming
3.-ski-off
4.-moguls party this weekend (i think)
5. meet and ski with the clits.
6. WE CAN STILL SKI THE WOODS.

Disappointing, but not sure how it compares to last year. Crossover in play and Canyon spinning vs two more weeks of skiing. Compared to the potential of SS bumps on Memorial Day, both suck.

Current conditions: Bright sunshine, 53 degrees, soft corn snow. Plus three lifts this weekend.
I try to give you some room for spin seeing as how it's your job, and for the most part appreciate the information you do provide on here, but I'm not going to be able to defend you on this one.

Thanks for the extra lift, BUT...
It's the wrong lift, no reason not to drop the nets on the crossover, stop the brutal grooming, Ski Patrol shouldn't be forced to be Nazis, ...

You've addressed the disappointment of closing down to just SS last Sunday. There's still plenty to go around.

Don't know K at all...

How much more terrain does that allow access to over just the K1 and SSQ?

-w
Couple groomers, couple narrower trails, but really just makes it easier to get to them if they have a couple other trails open. Nothing great, and that terrain could also be accessed if they open the Canyon quad, which would take the runout out of the steepest terrain still available.

Killington is staying open almost 2 weeks longer than last season, nothing dissapointing about that..

I swear your IQ drops by .01 point every time you post. It's amazing you can still remember to breathe on your own.

FYI, Killington used to say open another month after when they are closing this year, and sometimes a month and a half.

And you mowed all the decent bumps and refuse to let any form in the canyon area............and why aren't you running the canyon quad!!!!

You fail.....stop posting

NRT is opening Sat/Sun.

Jerk

I only ride the NRT in November. While the trails up there are nice once in a while, when the canyon quad and Hevenly traverse are open, the NRT is pointless to me. Otherwise it is a nice intermediate area.
