Wish I had a closer place for night skiing...even if I work an earlier day, getting ski time equal to drive time can be a stretch.

I was going to say 1hour 20 mins.

Probably correct but mentally the 75min figure sounds better...

Thinking of signing up for the Tuesday night adult race clinic (not that I'm looking to become a racer, just trying to translate what I learn there to the fun stuff)

I figure add another 20 min or so post-work. Your experience?
thx

Last couple seasons were about 45 minutes to Mountain Creek. It'll be about 75 minutes from my new house starting next month.

When I go to NH to visit family, I'm just outside of Manchester, so 75-90 minutes to Loon/Cannon/Ragged, 2.5 hours to Wildcat, 3 hours to Sugarbush.

It all depends on when work ends. On ski nights, I try to leave work by 4. Leaving at 5 means traffic on 78W, which can be brutal at times.

Depends how you define it.

30 minutes to Gunstock from the house in NH.

1:45 to Gunstock from the real home, but we will usually get to NH on Fri night and ski out of there Sat and Sun. Then head home from the Mt. on Sunday.

40 miutes to Wa Wa Wachusett from home if it dumps and we are stuck in Ma for some reason or a quick night session.

Looking for a home here, when I went up last year it was mostly Magic or Okemo, with Magic being more wishful thinking than anything, just can't count on the natural stuff the way they have to...but I digress...

2 1/2 hours tops to either one from my house, but when I had my trailer up in VT this past winter it was 10 min from Okemo and 25 min to Magic.

My home mountain now is the mountain of debt I accumlated last season riding...

Mt. Snow: About 2 hours from CT door to door...give or take. From the place in VT....25-30minutes.

Now that I live over the pass in Victor it varies from 35 minutes or so in the summer to 45-60 in the winter (25.6 miles each way). I work at the Seasons at the base of the hill so Im over there anyway every day. I actually like the drive overall, but there are a few days in the winter when Im happy to be alive once I get over the pass.
