Anyone else thinking we should have an AlpineZone BBQ day (ECB'rs included ;))?

I'd be willing to take drive 2-2.5 hours. I think this is a good idea before this season starts.

Suggestions on where we could do this with minimal difficulties with parking or coolers full of meat and beer (maybe at a ski area)?

I think the geographic center would be somewhere in S VT or NH, or N Ma. Mount Snow area is not a bad option. Good idea.

Maybe somewhere in CT? Hartford area? Sundown?

Mt Snow is at least 4 hours for me.

Likewise, CT can be 4-6 hours for those from NNE. It is hard because we have folks in PA and others in Northern ME and NH/VT. I think it would depend on who was coming.

Sundown might work. Maybe we could see if Chris needed some fall trail work done. Those that come and help earn entry into one of the bump comps. Follow up the trail work with some BBQ and Brew

CT would work. I can stay at my in-laws and they might even watch the kids for me. Sept some weekend?

Sounds like a cool idea. I would suggest multiple locations. No offense guys, but I am not driving down to CT for a BBQ. I could swing the Boston to Worcester metro area through points north though.

I like that idea! Can those of us without BBQs bring beer to share in the festivities? ;)

Can you bring baby sitting? ;-)

Only if you don't mind a slightly tipsy babysitter. ;)

Actually, depending on when and where, I might be able to work something out. Our families usually watch our kids for us. I could probably get a couple of my siblings together to help watch on site, though I might have to bribe them.

Yup, lets settle on where and when. Then the other details will work out. I like CT because I can drop the kids with my in-laws in Southbury. But S NH is real close too.
