If I skied Killington I'd be into his threads. Whether you agree with HS takes or not, he knows the place and can debate the issues.

Having been a former K fanboy during the 80's and 90's and a one time winter resident I tend to side with the folks complaining. The town businesses and residents loved the mountain and vice versa and business was good for both. It seems by almost all accounts that the harmony that once existed has been destroyed. People are passionate about it, so minimal trolling seems to spike a thread easily.

Last time I skied the "K" was 5 yrs ago for a reunion of house mates from "Smuggs". We hadn't all gotten together in 20+ yrs (6 of us all together), we're all much older, fatter and slower skiers but man-o-man did we have a blast. We chose K because of it's good location to all of us and the nite life---it's way more fun getting together when everyone has a few bucks instead of being broke ski instuctors. :beer:

It would be cool if you could block two users from posting in the same thread. JJ + GSS always ends up in a ruined thread that comes down to 4th-grade level name calling.
