hey, there was a Belleayre skier up at ramp camp last month, parents were also there on 7/30. Nice kid and good jumper. I'd put him at about 15 or so.

Vibe - like the vibe at Ragged. Nice and laid back. That was enough for me to buy a pass there for the upcoming season even though I've really only skied there once and the conditions weren't all that great.

The 250" of natural snow and the sprawl over all that vast area makes for some great off the map tree skiing at Killington.

Sunday River has RECENTLY had the longest season in the East, very affordable season pass options, and reliable snow due to one of the best snowmaking systems around.

Blue Mountain has great pierogi's! They also have a high speed six pack.

Gotta give them credit for opening a new trail last season also!

Ragged has a high speed six pack. I'm not sure anyone there would know what a pierogi is though.

Mountain Creek has what might be the cheapest season pass in the East (besides learner hills like McIntyre, Campgaw, etc.) ................ 100% night skiing .................... um ..................they usually have snow during the winter months.

I know you are well traveled and I assume well fed... How does the Hunter sushi stack up to the competition? I have always been tempted to give it a try at Hunter.

how much?

Ragged is $329, which I think is an exceptional value. Tenney is $199. Last year they had a special for $99 though, which I couldn't resist and was well worth it.

Well, it's not as cheap as Tenney. The full access was $269, and the 5x7 (unlimited weekdays, and weekend after 3pm) was $199.

So now I'm down to 100% night skiing and sometimes there's snow.

Sunday River has quite a bit of terrain variety, its lift system spreads the crowds out very well, and they do a great job making snow and keeping the snow surface in good shape. The River also has some pretty good tree skiing...but we prefer that it stays under rated.
