Not to be a downer, but we are due for a bad snow year...

gotcha

I'm the opposite. Work/Family really prevent me from getting to the hill much at all prior to NYE. Probably why I'm not sweating (well I literally am sweating actually) this warm November too much.

The vast majority of my ski days every year fall from Mid-Feb to Mid-April

What about '05-'06, where we had a strong start in late October, then a weak November, good December, then in it pretty much stopped snowing for the rest of the year with lots of warmth and rain? Ewwwww.

05-06 was the year I tore my ACL. I was fine with that suckitude.

The next season was epic. Sorry, capital E. I'm a Dec-Jan-on guy anyway. Don't get me wrong, I'd love some turns right now. But if I'm swapping the lack of them for a day in late April...well, I'm just fine with that.

06-07 was really good from February on but really really bad before February. December 3rd, Jay ONLY had one trail: The Jet. Yikes, it was sooo bad. BUT I skied three or four days in October including skiing Valhalla and Power Line at Jay (in freaking October!) on three feet of snow and early November was pretty good too. I am okay with a crappy December and January but a crappy November through January is a pretty long stretch so I am looking forward to December cranking it up.
