Resort Marketing Machines are Churning

I've never seen my mailbox fill up as fast as it has yesterday and today. The resorts are buzzing, and rightly so, quite excited.

Matt at Magic is thrilled. 12-14" of base material, enough to get the cat out there to compress and cold on the way is just what they need.

I spoke with Black this morning, they are equally thrilled.

Good for them. Good for us. Yeah, we can finally start the real season!

I'm with them all the way. I'm as excited as they are and as hopeful as they are. Indeed I want them to survive.

Not to r*** on anyone's parade, and I don't have time to check all the websites myself, but I'm curious how many areas that wound up getting NCP as the storm pulled away last night saw fit to disclose "deathcrust on ungroomed" in reporting surface conditions today. I seriously would be more inclined to visit such a place in the future to reward them for their honesty.
